Trilho das Bufareiras

This is a short linear footpath between Vila de Rei and the river beach of Penedo furado. It passes the cruise from where you can enjoy a beautiful view and then follows old paths through the bufareiras area, an unusual landscape resulting from the surrounding rocky massif where there are several waterfalls. One of the most emblematic and mystical places in the region and part of the attractions of the Penedo Furado river beach. Strong sun exposure. Be aware of the heat in summer.
